When commitment meets belief
In November 2025, during the World Boxing Cup Finals in Delhi, we met Amanpreet Kaur, Head Coach of the Indian Youth Women’s Boxing Team, and Priyanka Deva, Director of Deva Boxing Club.
Priyanka Deva Tewatia founded Deva Boxing in memory of her late brother, Deva. In Haryana, where girls are rarely encouraged to carve out their own path, her initiative is a powerful act of courage. Her family’s unwavering support is exceptional and has been fundamental to her journey. Head coach Amanpreet, once her teacher, now stands beside her as a mentor.
We gratefully accepted their invitation and, once again, experienced an exceptionally warm welcome, this time together with all the daughters of Ingeborg. A powerful moment of connection across generations.
