Behind the champion stands a woman who carries doubts, makes difficult choices, and is shaped by the people around her. Her journey reveals not just victory, but the personal cost of pursuing a dream: family, sacrifice, identity.

In November 2025, we visited Minakshi’s boxing gym in Haryana, India. Coach Vijay, the children and the elders of the village welcomed us with open arms. It was powerful to witness where a world champion was shaped — and how her international success has transformed both the gym and the community around it.
